Bury 2.0 is Shiba Inu’s advanced staking platform for locking your SHIB, TREAT, LEASH, or BONE tokens to gain voting power (veTokens) for governance. Currently, Bury 2.0 does not offer staking rewards—staking is for voting power only.

  2. Select a token, amount, and lock period
  3. Approve and stake to receive veTokens (voting power)
  4. Manage or withdraw your stake as needed

What is VE Staking?

When you lock your tokens, you receive veTokens — a vote-escrowed representation that grants you voting power. The amount of veTokens you receive depends on how long you choose to lock your tokens, following a linear scale:
  • Locking 100 $BONE for 4 years gives you 100 $veBONE
  • Locking 100 $BONE for 2 years gives you 50 $veBONE
  • Locking 100 $BONE for 1 year gives you 25 $veBONE
In essence, the longer you lock your tokens, the greater your voting power. A maximum lock period of 4 years gives you full weight (1:1), while shorter durations reduce that proportionally.
