Can I play Shiba Eternity on my Phone/PC/Console?

You can play Shiba Eternity Android with our app, or on desktop (Mac or PC) that support web browsers and WebGL (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc).

What and why is there a Closed Beta?

We are excited to introduce our new game, which includes many highly engaging and innovative features. To ensure that these new features are working smoothly, we are conducting a closed beta. This allows us to gather valuable feedback from the community and make any necessary improvements before the global launch.

Our closed beta is also a way to give our $LEASH stakers and NFT holders a sneak peek at the game. We appreciate their support and want to offer them an early look as a token of our gratitude.

By conducting this closed beta, we aim to present all our players with the best possible version of the game at launch.

How do I take part in the Closed Beta Test for Shiba Eternity?

Our Closed Beta Test is only available to players whose smart wallets have the following assets:

  1. Phase 1: Staked xLEASH tokens
  2. Phase 2: At least 1 NFT from the following Shib collections:
    1. The Shiboshis
    2. Sheboshis
    3. Shiba Eternity Lore

If you are the proud owner of either, head on over here [Insert Link] and connect your smart wallet to experience and take part in the Closed Beta! If you don’t have either, you can always buy then stake $LEASH tokens or get NFTs to join in on the fun, or wait just a little bit longer to enjoy the global release soon!

Why do I see an error when trying to play the game in the browser?

You might see the below error when trying to play the game in the browser if you do not have the Metamask extension installed in your browser. Please install the Metamask extension, connect your wallet and refresh the page to try again.

Wallet, Account, and Migration

Why do I need a wallet to play Shiba Eternity?

Your smart wallet is a secure place to store your ingame cards - all of which are NFTs! You can buy, sell and trade these cards with other players in the Shib Marketplace.

Why can’t I use my old account anymore?

The new Shiba Eternity boasts a completely revamped system, with tons of new features, that are not compatible with how the game used to work. While we understand it is hard to let go of an account that you have painstakingly built up bit by bit over the years, we are doing everything we can to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone, including mind-blowing welcome back gifts (i.e. Kibble, XP Boosters, Card Selectors, etc) for the players that are choosing to stay with us and migrate!

Will all my cards and Shiboshis carry over from the old game?

Unfortunately, no. No need to worry though - all returning players that are migrating will be rewarded with generous welcome-back gifts that are sure to more than make up for your previous collection!

What sort of welcome gifts will I get?

We understand the pain of losing your progression and starting all over again hence we have designed the welcome to minimise losses and aid in quick progression in the game. These are listed below:

  1. Kibble: Kibble is primarily used for two purposes: Buying Card Packs and Buying new Shiboshis. For the welcome backpack, the amount of Kibble given to a player will be directly proportional to the amount of Shiboshis they have unlocked.
  2. XP Boosters: All returning players will receive an XP booster that will double the amount of XP earned for the next 25 ranked matches.
  3. Card Packs: Returning players will get a certain number of card packs, based on the total number of cards they previously had, excluding legendary cards.
  4. Card Selector Tokens: Returning players will receive card selectors based on the number of legendary cards they had. These can be found in the inventory after they are claimed.

Shiboshis, Gameplay and Cards

What is a Shiboshi?

Shiboshis are highly intelligent Shiba Inus, your partners in Shiba Eternity, and masters of martial arts! Each Shiboshi has multiple traits that allow it to use various powers and special cards exclusive to its traits. Matching the right Shiboshi with the right martial arts discipline is crucial as it will let you pull off some insane combos in matches!

Additionally, note that while the Shiboshis inside the game are not NFTs, NFT Shiboshis are available to purchase and own in Opensea. Having a Shiboshi NFT will allow you to access our Closed Beta.

Are all Shiboshi’s NFT’s?

All Shiboshis generated in the game are not NFTs. The only Shiboshi NFTs that will exist are the ones we have on Ethereum. We have 10,000 unique Shiboshi NFTs with permutations of about 80 traits on 6 slots. The Shiboshis generated in the game will be randomly selected from those 10,000. Meaning, every Shiboshi in the game is a replica of a Shiboshi NFT. There can be unlimited replicas for every single NFT depending on the number of players we have.

What are Shiboshi traits and why do they matter?

Shiboshi Traits are unique characterization items for the Shiboshi - ranging from clothes, headwear, and hairstyle to functional accessories, looks and facial expressions! Each trait enables the Shiboshi to play certain cards that are tied to the trait, opening up a new horizon of gameplay strategies and combos!

How do I get more Shiboshis?

You can get more Shiboshis by purchasing them with Kibble (the in-game currency) at the Shiboshi menu.

How do I change my Shiboshi’s discipline?

Shiboshis take practicing their chosen discipline very seriously and dedicate their lives to it. That’s why it's extremely important to carefully choose a discipline once you acquire a new Shiboshi, and make sure it synergizes well with its traits, since once chosen, you can never change it again!

What are the different disciplines and what do they do?

The disciplines represent different martial arts that the Shiboshis practice, as well as exclusive decks and cards for each discipline that focus on a particular playstyle, each formidable in their own way - experiment with them and find the discipline that suits your playstyle the best!

Here are the disciplines that you can choose for your Shiboshis right now

ChewjitsuChewjitsu Masters specialize in having an answer to every problem and making sure they have enough cards to pull it off.
TaekwondojeTaekwondoje Masters focus on always having fighters on the field and dealing more damage every turn.

How do I earn Kibble?

Kibble is our primary in-game currency.

You can earn Kibble by completing Daily and Weekly Quests from the Quests tab in the main menu!

You can also earn Kibble by playing and winning matches - the various types of chests rewarded for winning matches contain Kibble in them!

Alternatively, you can always buy Kibble in the shop to ease your experience!

Why can’t I use a card I got from a card pack?

Most likely, the Shiboshi associated with the deck where you are trying to use it lacks the trait required to use that particular card. Tap on the card to see what trait it is bound to, and try using a Shiboshi with that particular trait! If you don’t have a Shiboshi with that particular deck, try summoning a new one!

How do I get more cards?

You can buy card packs with Kibble or with $USDC at the shop, or earn them by playing and winning games, earning chests and opening them.

How do I create/customize my deck?

From the main menu, go to Decks, then tap on the “+” sign to create a new deck assigned to the Shiboshi, or tap on the deck you wish to customize, then drag and drop the cards you want in your deck!

How do the 15-Day Tournaments Work?

Web3 and NFTs

What is Web 3.0?

Ever heard of Web 3.0? It's the next big thing that's set to revolutionize your favorite pastime. In simple terms, Web 3.0 is a decentralized version of the internet where gamers own their data and assets. Think of it as your ultimate in-game superpower!

Blockchain technology lies at its core, providing transparency and security. And with NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), unique digital items can be bought, sold, and traded like real collectibles.

Play-to-earn models let gamers earn rewards, turning the tables on traditional games where you only consume content. And don't forget about interoperability - your virtual items can travel across different games!

Why are we on Web 3.0?

Transitioning to Shibarium (our very own blockchain solution) has always been part of our grand plan for Shiba Eternity and the Shib ecosystem as a whole. We wanted to make sure that you, our valued players, can experience the best and solid performance across the board. That is why we took our time to build, test and rebuild the new ecosystem in Web 3.0. Now that we are finally in Web 3.0, we can offer our players various features like fully owning your cards as NFTs, using your ultra-secure wallet for transactions, trading cards with other players, and much, much more that would not have been possible previously.

What are NFTs?

NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) in gaming are the new cool things that add a whole new layer of fun and excitement to your favorite games!

Imagine owning unique, verifiable digital collectibles that prove you have an exclusive in-game item. No more debates over who truly owns that rare or legendary card!

NFTs offer gamers:

  1. Proof of ownership
  2. Trading flexibility
  3. Community building

What is a Smart Wallet?

Web3 wallets are tools designed to store digital assets and interact with blockchain technologies. Unlike traditional bank accounts, these wallets allow the storage and management of blockchain-based digital assets, including Stablecoins. Stablecoins like USDC can be stored, sent, and received using Web3 wallets.

How are rewarded tournaments different from ranked or seasonal tournaments?

Ranked tournaments allow players to improve their in-game ratings and earn in-game rewards, serving as a pathway to seasonal tournaments where larger prizes are at stake. Seasonal tournaments typically feature substantial rewards and often require invitations, showcasing top players from the ranked tournaments. In contrast, rewarded tournaments focus on real-world prizes like coupons or tokens, appealing to players who are interested in tangible benefits.
