Metaverse Lands​

How can I buy land in the Metaverse?​

You can buy land from the Metaverse official website. Land can be purchased with SHIB (Shibarium network) ETH (Ethereum network). Make sure you have enough balance for the purchase to be successful.

In the very rare case of the same land being double minted on both Ethereum and Shibarium, our system is monitoring such scenarios, and an automated refund will happen with in 48 hours.

Are there limits to how many Metaverse lands I can own?​

No, you can own as many plots as possible. If you have multiple adjacent plots of land, you can turn them to massive estates (coming soon).

Can I sell the land bought on Shibarium on NFT marketplaces?​

Yes, you can. In order to do this, you will have to bridge your land over to Ethereum and list it on NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea. Bridging land from Shibarium to Ethereum will be enabled in the upcoming weeks.

Can I share my land with other users?​

Metaverse lands are NFTs which you can transfer to other wallets, or trade in marketplaces.

Do I have to bridge my land to Shibarium to use them?​

No need. All land in your connected smart wallet, whether they are on Shibarium or Ethereum, can be accessed in the Metaverse and Plot Builder.

Metaverse Access​

Is the Metaverse free to download and play?​

Yes, the Metaverse is completely free to download and explore.

I don’t have Windows. How do I access the Metaverse?​

We are working on having the Metaverse accessible on desktop browsers.

I don’t own land. Can I access the Metaverse?​

Yes, you can download and access the Metaverse even without owning land. However, currently and in the future, some features are exclusive to landowners such as Plot Builder.

What happens if the Metaverse is updated while I am playing?​

You can still play, however updates on the Metaverse will not reflect on your installed version. Please update the Metaverse via Shib Portal to experience the latest changes.

Exploring the Metaverse​

My avatar got stuck while exploring. What should I do?​

Hit Ctrl+R to respawn your character and get moving again.

Why can’t I see my friend when we’re both logged in at the same time?​

You and your friend may have been assigned to different servers. You can’t choose servers for now but we are working on this.

How do I travel between Metaverse Hubs?​

You can travel to different Hubs or sections or the Metaverse by teleporting through the map (press M on your keyboard), or by hopping onto the teleportation platforms scattered all around the Hubs. Land travel from Ryoshi Plaza to WAGMI for example is not yet possible during early access.

Can I go to my plot of land from the Hub?​

You can visit Diamond Teeth land surrounding the perimeter of the Hubs by foot. Alternatively, you can press H on your keyboard to see your plots and teleport to it.

Can we set up our own events in the Metaverse?​

You can visit any of the Hubs and gather with your friends. For exclusive, gated-access events on the Metaverse, drop us an email at [email protected].

Can we build our own games in the Metaverse?​

Not at the moment. We are building the technology to enable developers to build games on the Metaverse. Stay tuned.

Avatar Builder​

Can I upload my own 3D models in Avatar Builder?​

Not at the moment. We will have this available in the future to allow everyone to express their personalities in the Metaverse.

Do the accessories have utility?​

No, all accessories are purely cosmetic.

Plot Builder​

Can I upload my own 3D models in Plot Builder?​

Not at the moment. We will have this available in the future so that landowners can truly make their lands their own.

I have multiple lands in different wallets. Can I use them all in the same account?​

All Shib Portal and Metaverse accounts are tied to one wallet during early access. Multiple wallet linking is not yet available. You will have to transfer your lands to your main Metaverse account, i.e. the wallet connected to your Shib Portal in order to access all plots in one account.

Can I build from scratch without using the pre-built kits?​

This feature is not yet available, but we understand the joy of building your own space from scratch and customizing it so we will work on this.

Rewards and Economy​

Can I sell items in the Metaverse or in my plot?​

Commerce and trading in the Metaverse, or setting up a storefront with checkout and payment is not yet available.

What do I get by playing in the Metaverse?​

Metaverse Early Access allows you to explore and enjoy the breathtaking Hubs. We are working on exciting quests and gameplay to make the Metaverse a quality and rewarding time spent for all.
